Donations to the Library

Thank you for considering the Daly City Library for your donation. We gratefully accept monetary donations (cash or check) at any of our locations or through the mail. A receipt for tax purposes is available upon request. All donations go to our Library Materials Fund for the purchase of new books, tapes, videos, DVDs, CDs, and magazine/newspaper subscriptions.

We will also gladly accept new or gently-used:

books
music CDs
books on CD or tape
DVDs, and
videos
National Geographic Magazines (any date)
popular magazines (last year and current year only)

We can only take items in good condition. We cannot accept any items that have been marked with a pen or highlighter or with mold, mildew, water or other damage.

If you would like to make a donation, please bring the items to the Check Out Desk of any of the Library's locations for review. Please do not leave items outside the library when we are closed.
