The Serramonte Main Library is the largest of the
Daly City Library libraries, with over 86,000 adult and children's
books, books on tape & CD, music CDs, videos, DVDs, and magazines,
a public computer lab, wireless
internet access, a public-use typewriter, a meeting room, and
a full-time professional reference
staff to assist patrons. The branch hosts the Samuel
C. Chandler History Collection, a Spanish language collection,
and a small Chinese language collection. Storytimes
for young children are held twice a week. The Library Administrative
Offices are also located at this branch.
